City to Celebrate Ten Years of EnvisionCR with Kick-Off Event at NewBo City Market

The City of Cedar Rapids invites community members to join a "City Kick-Off" event at NewBo City Market on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 4–6:30 p.m. This celebration marks a decade of collaborative planning and community involvement through the City’s comprehensive plan, EnvisionCR.
Visitors can learn about ongoing City projects, celebrate achievements, and share thoughts on the City’s future direction. The event offers a variety of family-friendly activities and informative displays for an enjoyable and educational experience. Look forward to special appearances by the Police Department's K9 Unit, a display of art-wrapped garbage trucks, immersion in an interactive floodplain management model, and more.
